Description

Who doesn’t love pork chops drenched in Fritos? You could dip dirt in Fritos and it would taste good.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Fritos
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Colby Jack Cheese
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Dry Mustard
  • 1 whole Brown Egg
  • ½ cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 whole Small Lemon, Juiced
  • 2 pounds Thin Cut Pork Chops
  • ½ sticks Butter

Preparation

1. Put Fritos in a large Ziploc bag and beat with a mallet until crushed. The bag keeps the crumbs from flying everywhere, so be sure to close it before crushing.

2. Mix together flour, Colby Jack cheese, salt, pepper, dry mustard and Fritos in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

3. Mix together egg, heavy cream and lemon in a medium-sized bowl. Beat with a whisk until frothy and set aside.

4. Put the pork chops onto a cutting board and trim all of the fat off.

5. Spray a large baking dish with cooking spray.

6 Set pork chops, flour and egg mixture next to the pan to make it easy for dipping.

7. Dip the pork chop into the egg mixture. Then dip into the flour mixture, coating both sides.

8. Now do it all over again. Dip the pork chop into the egg mixture again, then the flour mixture. This gives it a double coating that sticks to the pork and the breading won’t fall off during baking.

9. Put each pork chop into your baking dish and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

10. Melt butter in a small bowl in the microwave.

11. Spoon butter over each pork chop and bake for 5 more minutes. This makes it crispy.

12. Remove from oven and cool.

Put on a plate and enjoy!
