Description

I got this from my mother in law. Yes, it uses boxed stuffing, but it’s so quick and easy to prepare! If you have something against boxed stuffing, you can always use your favorite homemade stuffing! But when I have limited time and ingredients, this is my go to dinner!

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • ½ cups Italian Dressing
  • 1 box Chicken Flavored Stove Top Stuffing, 6 Ounce Box

Preparation

Marinate chicken breasts in Italian dressing. Refrigerate for 1 hour or more.

Preheat oven to 375.

Make Stove Top Stuffing according to box directions and set aside. Remove chicken from marinade, making sure to shake off any excess. Place chicken in a greased casserole dish. Discard the rest of the marinade. Spoon stuffing on top of the chicken. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. If you’d like, after it’s finish, remove the foil and broil for a few minutes to crisp the stuffing.

Serve with a salad! Enjoy!

We just made this for supper tonight. Very easy to prepare. Definitely pay attention to the direction to shake off the excess marinade. Can get soupy if not careful. But very tender and delicious! Ours was a bit salty, but I think this was due to the brand of stuffing we used. My picky eaters liked this one, sprinkled with some mozzarella cheese.
