I made these tonight and they were great! The only change I made in the recipe was using homemade gluten free bread crumbs. Also, I used unsalted butter since there was plenty of salt in the bread crumb mixture.

(this is a copy of my ‘comment,’ but I wanted to get in a rating on this awesome recipe!)
Amazing! Easy, pretty fast, DELICIOUS, and healthy. I used bread crumbs made from dried, leftover bread, and omitted the parmesan because I didn’t have any. I also substituted shredded colby jack cheese for the mozzarella. I added 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoning and I think that really added to the flavor.
They were light and crunchy, and my kids and husband (the pickiest eater in the house) ate them up in no time! My husband said this is a keeper for sure.
*Update: I’ve also used this style of making chicken to make a delicious and healthy chicken parmesan. Thanks so much Michelle B.

These were absolutely fabulous! I didn’t have the basil, parsley, or oregano (I’m a boring cook, apparently) but they were delicious anyway. The butter really keeps them from getting dry while baking. I will definitely be using this recipe over and over! Thanks!

These were easy and delicious. My husband and I enjoyed them immensely. The breading is very versatile and can be used for many chicken dishes. The only change I made was I only melted 1/4 cup of butter instead of a whole cup.

These were really delicious…much more so than I expected them to be. Next time, I’ll leave out the extra salt because they were way saltier than I would have liked. Other than that, they were a big hit!

Not bad, but it takes about 40 minutes in prep time. And that’s just too much time to make chicken nuggets–especially ones that didn’t get much of a reaction from anyone at the dinner table.

I find this to be quick and easy to make! Have made many times in this house over the past few months.:)

OMG — as my son says!!! I tried these and these are AMAZING! And not only are they easy — you actually know you are eating REAL chicken, not the junk you get in commerical chicken nuggets that “McGag” me if you know what I mean!

I loved this recipe! I omitted the parsley because I was out, and unfortunately had to turn them all because I lack a wire rack. It turned out great, but next time I’m double battering Thanks!

loved it!!! left out oregano (not a fan of it). My 4year old enjoyed them. We will be making it again.

We loved these! Thanks for sharing! I used blended croutons for the bread crumbs, and the crust came out nice and crunchy!

We made these into chicken tenders, put two on a bun, smothered in pizza sauce, and they were delicious! Next time I might even broil an extra piece of mozzarella on top. Delicious and easy. Thanks for a great recipe.

Made these last night for the boyfriend and roommate… We couldn’t move afterwards! We ate ourselves past our stuffing zone! LOL! Very good. Only thing is I used a wire-rack and after the 20 mins the bottoms were still pretty buttery and soggy so i flipped them all and stuck them under the broiler for a few minutes to brown them up.

I made these for a small gathering of friends and they were gone in 5 minutes. These never fail!! Delicious.

These are sooo delicious! I based my recipe off yours (only had Parmesan on hand and already seasoned breadcrumbs leftover from Christmas). The kids (and their dad) were begging for more! Great work!
