Description

This burger is full on flavor!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • ½ pounds Lean Ground Pork
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ½ cups Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Montreal Steak Spice
  • ½ Tablespoons Seasoning Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce
  • 6 whole Hamburger Buns
  • FOR THE STUFFING:
  • 1 whole Pickle, Finely Diced
  • 5 strips Bacon, Cooked But Not Crispy, Chopped
  • ½ cups Shredded Mozzarella

Preparation

Mix the stuffing ingredients together in a medium sized bowl.

Mix the hamburg ingredients together (everything except the buns) in a bowl. Divide into 6 portions and then divide each portion in half.

On a sheet of plastic wrap shape two sections of meat into even sized patties. Place 2-3 teaspoons of the stuffing in the middle of one of the patties and top with a second using the plastic wrap to help you lift up the burgers. Pinch the edges together to seal. Set the stuffed burger on a plate. Repeat for the other 5 burgers.

Heat your BBQ grill to medium heat. Place burgers onto the hot grill and cook until cooked through, approximately 10 minutes, flipping halfway through the cook time.

When done remove the burgers from the grill onto a plate and get ready to assemble. Serve a patty on a hamburger bun with your favorite toppings like onion, tomato, lettuce, pickle, ketchup, mayonnaise, relish and mustard. Top with your favorite cheese like Swiss, Havarti or cheddar.
