Description

Save yourself a week of faux soul searching and just do it. It’s worth it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ½ cups Blue Cheese Crumbles
  • 5 strips Bacon, Raw, Finely Chopped Or Pulsed In A Food Processor
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 whole Egg (optional)
  • 3 Tablespoons Bread Crumbs (optional)
  • 4 whole Hamburger Buns, Toasted
  • Your Favorite Burger Toppings

Preparation

Note: I usually make these as meatballs, hence the egg and breadcrumbs. I’ve used the egg and breadcrumbs with burgers and they turn out great. If you want a meatier burger though, leave ‘em out.

Let’s make burgers!

Combine the beef, cheese, bacon, salt and pepper, Worcestershire sauce, egg, and bread crumbs gently in a bowl. Form into 4 equal patties, making a little indentation in the middle of each burger so that it’ll cook evenly.

Preheat a grill or skillet to medium heat.

Grill the burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked to your desired doneness. I do these closer to medium-well, but that’s just because raw bacon doesn’t float my boat. Your call, though.

Serve these in hamburger buns with your favorite toppings and try to not die of happiness.

Enjoy these beauties!
