Description

Spaghetti noodles gone Asian. Chicken and vegetables galore in a soy and sesame sauce, all tangled up with oodles of noodles.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE PASTA:
  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • ¾ pounds Spaghetti Noodles
  • 4 cups Frozen Stir-fry Vegetables
  • 14 ounces, fluid Chicken Broth
  • ¾ cups Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seed Oil
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Mirin
  • ¼ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds, For Topping
  • _____
  • FOR THE MARINADE:
  • ¼ cups Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seed Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder

Preparation

Slice the chicken breasts in bite size pieces. Mix the marinade ingredients in a large bowl or plastic bag, add the chicken and marinate.

While the chicken is marinating, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain pasta, cover to keep warm. In a large frying pan over medium high heat, cook the chicken and the marinade it was in until almost done. Add the frozen vegetables, continue to cook until the chicken and vegetables are done. Mix the chicken broth, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, ground ginger, garlic powder, mirin, red pepper flakes, and corn starch. Whisk together. Add to the chicken vegetable mixture, lower heat to medium. Cook until it starts to get thick. Add the pasta and stir until heated through. Top with sesame seeds.
