Description

These peanut butter pumpkin puppy treats are golden retriever approved!! They are also vegetarian if your pup has food allergies.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Eggs
  • ½ cups Pumpkin (canned Is Great!)
  • 2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter, Creamy
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2-½ cups Whole Wheat Flour

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Whisk together the eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in bowl.
3. Add flour in ½ cup increments.
4. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff (I used 2 tablespoons of water).
5. Roll the dough out onto a work surface. Cut into ½ inch pieces (mine were a bit bigger because of my cookie cutters).
6. Bake for 30-40 minutes (mine were ready at 30).
7. Cool then give to all your canine friends.

How do you store these? Do they need refrigerated?

Nice! Can’t wait to try these. I have a pup that absolutely hates peanut butter, so I’ll try subbing almond butter and see how it does.
