Description

Simple recipe to make finger paint with your kiddos. You should have all the ingredients in your pantry.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Cornstarch
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 cups Cold Water
  • Food Coloring

Preparation

Mix together cornstarch, sugar, salt, and cold water in a saucepan. Mix constantly over medium low heat until it reaches the consistency of, well, finger paint. This will take around ten minutes. Please watch closely, because this can get too thick very quickly.

Let this cool to the touch. Separate into the number of containers you want to make. Add food coloring to desired boldness. And, have fun painting!

How fun my kidos and nieces and nephews would love this! Can’t wait to try it! I think I may use Koolaid to color it so each color is a different flavor.

I made this for my son and nieces… they LOVED it and SO did I. It was a lot of fun! My 7 year old niece helped make it and they all painted and had a great time. I was concered about it drying but it dried just fine and the pictures were beautiful of course.
