Description

A yummy Squash Dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Squash Sliced
  • 1  Onion, Chopped
  • 1  Bell Pepper, Chopped
  • ¾ sticks Butter, Melted
  • 1-½ cup Prepared Cornbread, Crumbled
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Chicken Soup

Preparation

Boil and drain your squash. Boil squash for about 20 minutes (just until soft).

Saute onions and bell pepper in butter over medium heat until both are softened.

Mix all of the ingredients together and put them into a baking dish. Bake at 350ºF (about 30 minutes) until lightly brown but not hard.

Note: more cornbread can be added if necessary.

Yum! We need a bit of help:
– For the squash, would you add some more details into the instructions: What type of squash do you use (yellow, butternut, acorn, etc); do you dice, chop, or slice it; and for how long do you boil it?
– Would you also please add at least a ballpark bake time for the assembled dressing?
– And I did it for you this time (for the can of soup) but in the future, please make sure to include package sizes for all ingredients. We’ve got a lot of members overseas, in places where packaging varies, so we always ask that you include package sizes on all recipe submittals. We appreciate your help.

When done, click ‘make recipe visible’ and ‘save’ and we’ll get this posted.
Thanks,
TKNanci
