Description

A great Halloween treat for kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Peanut Butter, Creamy
  • ½ cups Butter, Softened
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3-¾ cups Confectioners Sugar
  • 16 ounces, weight White Chocolate Bark Candy Coating
  • 1 Tablespoon Shortening
  • 1 package Red Decorating Gel
  • 1 package M & M Candies (you'll Need 30-40 Total)

Preparation

In a bowl, cream the peanut butter, butter and vanilla together. (I do this in my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and it does a marvelous job mixing it well). Gradually beat in the confectioners sugar.

Shape into 1 inch balls. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy coating and shortening together (use 50% heat and do it in 30 second bursts, stirring between each interval to make sure it doesn’t scorch). Continue to heat and stir until smooth.

Dip peanut butter balls into coating and place on wax paper.

Place one M&M (plain side up) on top of each peanut butter ball. Let stand until well set.

Use red decorating gel to create “bloodshot” eyes.
