I made these tonight for a big group of friends. I was proposed to three times. On the spot. They are incredible. Thank you for sharing!!!

These are delicious and fairly easy! I baked the pie part and stored them the night before I made the cream cheese filling. They are flying out of my kitchen at record speed!
Will definitely be making these again soon.

OH. Oh my Goodness.
I am speechless. These are SO good. They are easy to make, hard to mess up, and oh. so. delicious.
I’m considering ending my baking career because it will never get better than this. Really. Never ever.
Thank you so much. Thank you thank you thank you!

These are great! My batter was a bit thick but I persevered. They are like portable pumpkin rolls! I love them & will enjoy sharing them with friends and teachers.

Just finished making these, and oh MY, they are delicious! They are pretty rich, meaning I can’t eat all of them by myself (even though I want to!). Luckily, I have friends and family to share with. This is going in my permanent recipe file. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely delicious! I made these for a group of my husband’s friends last night, and he said all the guys gave high praise. FYI: I used an ordinary table spoon (plus my fingers for occasional shaping help–shhh!) for the cookies, and it worked great! My cookies weren’t “professional” looking, but no one seemed to mind! Thank you, Deutsch Girl!

These were very, very easy to make. I didn’t cut squares of parchment paper though, I just used a sheet of parchment to cover the bottoms of my baking pans, came out just fine. I did use the swirl method and they all came out very uniform in size. They are as good as they look on this site, and they got rave reviews from my co-workers at lunch today. Definitely making these again and again and again!!!!!

So good! I used Betty Crocker cream cheese frosting because my frosting was too runny (probably my error)
I also just plopped them on the cookie sheet with a silpat liner and squashed them down before baking instead of the piping method. They had to cook 13-15 minutes because they were fatter, perfectly moist.

I made these today and they are yummy to say the least. The only thing I did differently was to add pumpkin pie spice to the cream cheese frosting instead of cinnamon. I also used my scoop to place them on the parchment paper instead of piping them. Thanks for sharing!

I made these for a holiday party last week and they were a huge hit. Very tasty! I followed the recipe exactly and they were delicious…springy cake-like texture and perfect for all that yummy icing.
Instead of making a few large cookies, I made a bunch of small ones. I loved the idea of piping the cookies onto wax paper in swirls but didn’t cut the paper into squares…I found it easier to just lift the entire paper off the cookie sheet to cool instead of messing with a lot of squares.
I agree with fellow posters…they’re almost better the next day straight out of the fridge. Thanks for the wonderful recipe…it will be in our regular holiday rotation!

My daughter wanted me to make her a pumpkin sheet cake with cream cheese frosting for her B-day on Thursday. I think I will try these instead. Thanks for the great idea.

I have to try these! I fell in love with carrot cakes cookies like these at Trader Joe’s and I think these might just fit the bill

I substituted banana for the pumpkin…..family loved them! Mine ended up flat and not cakey, more chewy but I may have to buy new baking soda and powder. They were still delicious! Thanks for the recipe :0)
