Description

With 3 ingredients, this Southern holiday favorite is simple and fresh.

Ingredients

  • 5 whole Large Naval Oranges, Segmented And Cut In Chunks
  • 1 whole Coconut (grated)
  • ½ cups Sugar (plus More, If Needed, To Reach Desired Taste)

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together, adding up to 1/4 cup more sugar to taste. Chill, preferably overnight.

This was the best breakfast during the holidays for my family. We did have a little difference tho. We squeezed the juice into the bowl after cutting the oranges, and we added chopped walnuts. Glad to see this recipe on the internet. So many people add sour cream , marshmallows n pineapple that really to me makes sort of a Waldorf salad. I’m a Georgia girl n our ambrosia couldn’t be any better!!
