Grandma Gray’s Dressing/Stuffing

Description
This is our family recipe for stuffing/dressing. I make this every Thanksgiving.
Ingredients
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Chopped
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 10 slices White Or Wheat Bread Cubed, Let Dry Overnight On A Cookie Sheet
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Ground Sage
- ¼ teaspoons Pepper
- ½ cups Chopped Celery
- 1 can Chicken Rice Soup
- ½ cans Water (use Empty Soup Can)
Preparation
Brown onion in butter. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Put in a greased casserole dish. Bake at 325F for 1 hour. One batch feeds about 4 to 5 people and makes a square pan. Double the recipe for a 9×13 pan.
