Description

Another gift from the kitchen. Just prepare the ‘mix’ and give it out as a gift.

These taste like the orange vanilla popsicles you ate as a kid.

Ingredients

  • 1-¾ cup All-purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ cups Tang Or Any Orange Flavored Drink Mix
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 1-½ cup Vanilla Baking Chips

Preparation

Combine the flour with the baking powder and the baking soda. Mix well.

Now layer in a wide mouth quart-sized jar in this order pressing down after each ingredient in this order.

Tang, sugar, vanilla chips, and then flour mixture.

Attach a recipe card with a pretty ribbon, with these instructions.

DREAMSICLE COOKIES

Empty contents in a large mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 egg slightly beaten. Mix until completely blended.

Drop by heaping tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet and bake in a 375F preheated oven 12- 14 minutes or until lightly browned. Let sit on baking sheet 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack. Cool completley.

I just whipped up a dozen jars of this recipe to give to my friends and co-workers. I used whole wheat pastry flour because it has worked well in other cookie recipes and a little healthy always makes me happy :-) Thanks for posting a great recipe!
