Description
Chilly, fruity sangria, the perfect drink on a hot summer night!
Ingredients
- 1 bottle (750ml Bottle) Red Wine
- 6 ounces, fluid Sprite, Or Bubbly Lemon/Lime Drink
- ⅔ cups Sugar (taste As You Add)
- ½ whole Lemon, Juiced
- ½ whole Lime, Juiced
- 10 pieces Fruit, See Below For Suggestions
Preparation
Mix all of the ingredients in a large pitcher and adjust flavors until it reaches the perfect level between sweetness and tartness. (Taste as you go!) Let your fruit of choice marinate for a few minutes for a stronger fruit-infused taste. Serve over ice!
Suggestions:
Go-to fruit: lemons, limes, oranges, each sliced thinly (with rind) and placed in the pitcher
Latest favorite fruit: strawberries, lemons, limes, and blackberries
Preferred wine: Cabernet Savignon or Pinot Noir
