Description

Rich and decadent peppermint hot chocolate made easy in the slow cooker.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Milk (I Used Whole)
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Half-and-half
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • ¾ cups Andies Peppermint Crunch Baking Chips
  • 3 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (I Used Hershey's)
  • 2 Tablespoons Confectioners Sugar
  • Whipped Cream, Peppermint Marshmallows, And Mini Chocolate Chips, For Garnish (optional)

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized (I used my 4-quart) slow cooker and stir.

Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, whisking once halfway through cooking time.

Serve hot and garnish with whipped cream, peppermint marshmallows and mini chocolate chips.

Drink and repeat.

Recipe inspired by Crockpot Coconut Hot Chocolate from How Sweet It Is.

Wonderful hot chocolate! I actually used Andes menthe baking chips instead of peppermint, so I got more of a chocolaty minty flavor. I love all the possibilities! It is very rich though, so don’t serve it with another rich dessert… unless you can’t help it, like me. :)
