Description

Brings back such fond memories of childhood.

Ingredients

  • 10  Maraschino Cherries, Divided
  • Ice Cubes To Taste, I Filled The Glasses 3/4 Full With Them
  • 1  Lime, Cut Into Wedges, Divided
  • 6 ounces, fluid Lemon Lime Soda, Or As Needed To Fill Each Glass Almost To The Top, Leaving Some Head Space
  • 2 teaspoons Maraschino Cherry Juice
  • 3 teaspoons Grenadine

Preparation

Note: This recipe makes one tall 8-ounce glass. If you want more, buy large quantities of everything. I used a full bottle of cherries and a full 2-liter bottle of pop for 8 people.

In your glass or jar, place in about 6 cherries. Now fill about 3/4 of the way with ice cubes. Slip lime wedges into the spaces between the ice. Add about 3 more cherries where there is room. Add lemon lime juice till you have a little gap at the top. Add maraschino cherry juice. Add grenadine. Stir. Add more ice if needed. Add more soda if needed. Garnish with cherries and lime. Serve with a big old good ship lollipop smile!
