Description

Pumpkin Spice Dark and White Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Whole Milk
  • 1 cup Canned Pure Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Ground Cloves
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg
  • 3 ounces, weight Good Quality White Chocolate, Roughly Chopped
  • 2 ounces, weight Good Quality Dark Chocolate, Roughly Chopped
  • Optional Garnishes: A Few Shavings Of Chocolate, And A Sprinkle Of Spices

Preparation

In a small pan over medium heat combine the milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, salt and spices. Whisk constantly until smooth.

Stir until just simmering. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate shavings (reserve some for garnish) until melted. Pour into serving mugs.

Top each mug with a generous mound of whipped cream, a few shavings of chocolate, and a sprinkle of spices.
