  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream, Divided
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar Or Sweetener Of Choice, Plus 1 Teaspoon, Divided
  • 2 cups Whole Milk

  • 1 whole Candy Cane, Crushed, For Garnish

Preparation

1. Place 1/2 cup cream, 2 tablespoons sugar, milk and chocolate in a small, heavy-bottomed saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the chocolate has completely melted and is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint flavor.

3. Serve the hot chocolate with whipped cream and a sprinkling of crushed candy canes. Enjoy!
