Description
Aguas frescas (Spanish for “cool waters”) are a combination of fruits, cereals or flowers blended with sugar and water to make light non-alcoholic beverage.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Cucumber
- 1 cup Mint Leaves, Plus More For Garnish
- 2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- Cucumber Slices Or Lemon Slices, For Garnish (optional)
Preparation
Mix cucumber, mint, and sugar in a blender and make a puree. Strain mixture and add lemon juice. Adjust sugar to taste.
Take a glass, add ice cubes and pour in the drink. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and cucumber or lemon slices if you want.
