Description

If chai tea doesn’t make your skirt fly up, what does? A milky, spiced and warm beverage that makes life good!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 1-¼ Tablespoon Indian Black Tea (preferably Darjeeling)
  • Sugar, To Taste
  • 2 whole Cardamom Pods, Cracked
  • 2 whole Black Peppers
  • 2 whole Cloves
  • ½ sticks Cinnamom
  • ½ teaspoons Fennel Seeds (optional)
  • 1 cup Milk

Preparation

Bring the water, tea, sugar and spices to a boil. Depending on your preference and desired tea strength, determine the time for which you boil the tea. I prefer to boil the tea about 5–10 minutes.

Add milk and boil for another 5 minutes. Strain and serve hot.

@ erikalea Ouch! :-) Yes it is peppercorns. Thank you for bringing to my notice.

This looks good, just a quick question. Are the black peppers actual peppers or peppercorns? Thanks!
