Description

To satisfy your own coffee cravings, learn how to recreate some of your favorite coffee drinks right at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ground Coffee
  • 32 ounces, fluid Container Or Mason Jar
  • 2 pieces Large Basket-type Coffee Filters
  • Gourmet Flavored Syrup (optional, But Oh So Good)

Preparation

Place ground coffee in a container or glass mason jar fill with cold water. Cover and let sit on the counter for twelve to fifteen hours. Place strainer over a large bowl and put coffee filter inside. Slowly pour about half of the coffee and let sit until strained. Replace filter and repeat.

To make iced coffee: Place equal parts coffee concentrate and milk in glass. Add ice. You may find my preference for iced coffee a bit strong for you, so leave room to add some water to weaken it if need be. Add sugar or sugar substitute and any flavored syrup of your choice.

This concentrate is not just for iced coffees. You can also use it to make hot coffee in the morning without all of the brewing. This is perfect for those who have problems with traditional coffee being too harsh on their stomachs. Simply mix equal parts concentrate and water, heat and go!

This concentrate will easily keep a month or more in your fridge with no change in flavor .

I lived in New Orleans for 4 years and they have some of the best coffee in the world imho. So when we moved back home to GA the coffee lacked seriously, not to mention to expensive. I found your recipe for this coffee and I LOVE IT, it’s fantastic and thanks for sharing!

I like to add a little chocolate syrup and some caramel to mine to sweeten it. Delicious!

This is so good! I made the recipe as written & added a little sweetened condensed milk to sweeten when I made my iced coffee & it was delicious. Tastes exactly like a bottled Starbucks frappuchino. Thanks so much for this recipe!
