Description

Don’t like to eat your leafy greens? Drink them instead!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Finely Chopped Kale
  • ¼ cups Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 whole Banana
  • ½ cups Milk

Preparation

Place all ingredients in the blender. Puree until smooth, making sure that all of the kale pieces are liquified. Enjoy!

madefromscratch – I put spinach into my smoothies every morning. I started with just a little and have added more and more over time. Aside from color, you can’t tell. In fact, I didn’t tell my husband I was adding spinach until a couple of weeks later!

Thank you! It actually tasks just like your typical strawberry banana smoothie! No sign of bitter or tough kale.. except the color. I am going to experiment with other fruits, but so far it seems like the perfect way to disguise the super nutrient greens into my diet.

I’ve also heard of several people who use spinach rather than kale. Or collard greens.

The fruit completely cover any taste of kale – delicious. I used almond milk instead of regular milk.
