Description

A slushy Fruit Tea Punch! Guaranteed to be the best-tasting drink you’ve had all summer! Great for girlfriend get-togethers. Kids love it too! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 4 bags Family Size Tea
  • 2 cups Water (for Steeping Tea)
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1 carton Pineapple Juice
  • 1 carton Orangey Juice Of Choice
  • 2 cups Chopped Banana (optional)
  • ¼ cups Lemon Juice (optional)
  • 8 cups, 7 tablespoons, ¾ teaspoons, ⅓ pinches Ginger Ale

Preparation

Steep some strong tea. Add warm tea to a large plastic pitcher. Add sugar to the warm tea. Stir to dissolve sugar.

Blend together bananas (optional) with a bit of pineapple juice. Add the pineapple juice to the tea in the plastic container. Add blended bananas and lemon juice, if using. Fill up the remaining space in the plastic container with the orange-y juice of choice.

Freeze fruit tea mix overnight. The next day, an hour or two before serving, remove fruit tea mix from the freezer. Let it sit in the sink to thaw a bit, or let it sit in the sun!

Make sure your ginger ale is in the freezer to chill. DO NOT freeze ginger ale completely. Be very careful when you open the ginger ale.

Thaw fruit tea mix till slushy. Scoop out the fruit tea mix in a serving pitcher and fill about 3/4 full. Now, cap it off with chilled ginger ale!

Serve it up on a hot day. Enjoy!

What do mean exactly by carton (of pineapple and orange juice)? 64 oz?
