I didn't feel that this was chocolate-y enough as written. I ended up not adding all the milk because it was tasting too diluted and also adding a little extra cocoa powder. If I were going to make it again, I'd replace the white chocolate chips with semisweet. But, I think we'll just stick with chocolate milkshakes in the future.

I'm a nanny and my nanny girls picked this recipe to try out to beat the summer heat! So glad we did. Very good and a good reprieve from my skin melting off.

LOVE THIS!! I've been wanting to try this recipe for awhile, but have been too busy. Made it today and my only regret was not trying it a few weeks ago when it was a sweltering 99+ in the shade! Sooo delicious! My dad even loved it--said it was better than a milkshake and I never thought I'd hear him say that about anything! One of the things that makes it so great is that it doesn't leave you feeling stuffed like a milkshake does. Next time I might try adding a bit of coffee to one for my mom. Thanks a bunch!

Perfect ending to a hot & steamy day in WI! :) I made 2 tweaks . . . first - I didn't have unsalted butter, so I used salted & second - I used low fat evaporated milk . . . even with these minor changes the recipe received rave reviews. Thank you for great recipe!! :)

This is absolutely delicious, and I like that it tastes like it came from an old time ice cream shoppe and you don't have to use ice cream! It's seriously delish!!! I even froze the extra & it was every bit as wonderful after I left it sitting on the counter for about 20 minutes. YUMMMMM

Oh man. This is so good. As in, I'm now going to have to buy a gym membership good. It's been a few years since I've been to Serendipity, but when I went with some friends, the Peanut Butter Frrozen Hot Chocolate was the favorite. I've made this twice now. The first time I followed the recipe exactly, except I subbed half & half for the evaporated milk. The second time I added in a scoop of peanut butter and a sprinkling of sea salt. WOW. Imagine all the other possibilities, like raspberry or caramel syrup. Add lots of ice cubes, I added the whole tray for two servings.
