Description

Butterbeer is a favorite drink of young witches and wizards. This frozen one was inspired by the kind I had at Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Fans and others alike will love this festive drink.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup Cream Soda
  • 7 Tablespoons Butterscotch Schnapps, Divided
  • 2 cups Ice
  • 6 Tablespoons Heavy Cream

Preparation

Combine cream soda, 6 tablespoons Schnapps and ice in a blender. Blend until slushy. Pour into a glass or mug.

In a small bowl, combine heavy cream and the remaining 1 tablespoon of Schnapps. Using an electric mixer, whisk together until almost whipped. You want the cream mixture to be slightly loose, not as firm as whipped cream. Top the butterbeer with the foamy topping and serve immediately.

If you want to, you can use butterscotch syrup (like the kind from Torani) to make it kid friendly. :) I forgot to mention that in the recipe.

Great fun for the kiddos and adults……..kinda like an adult float! You’d have to be a cream soda lover to enjoy it.

Made this tonight, and drank it with my husband while watching Harry Potter. It was really great, the cream was a bit rich though. Thanks for this awesome recipe!

I made a virgin one for my children (omitting the snapps). I thought is was good but my kids insisted that it should be brown not pink…LOL! :)
