Description

Drink your pie, I mean your coffee. Beat the long lines and make wonderful lattes at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole Milk, Almond Milk Or Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • ½ cups Sucanat/ Raw Cane Sugar, Or 1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup Or 1/2 Teaspoon Stevia
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Almond Extract
  • ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Preparation

Whisk together milk, cream, sweetener and cocoa powder in a medium saucepan over medium heat. When the mixture begins to steam up from pan, remove from the heat. Stir in almond and vanilla extract. Pour into a glass bottle and store in the refrigerator. Use according to your own taste in coffee, hot cocoa, ice cream, oatmeal, French toast…

Yes, sucanat is sugar so any equal amount of the sugar of your choice will work great. It will keep as long as your creamer is dated to, so be sure to check the box if your concerned…mine never makes it that long! Hope you like!

This looks great! How long will this keep in the fridge? Will regular sugar work as a sweetner?

Made this last night. Loved the flavor. Used 1/3 cup Splenda because I didn’t have the other sweeteners, almond milk and whipping cream. I though it turned out great. This just got added to my gift giving list.
