my cousin made this for me, oh my it is good. I too can't wait to see how it in a couple of weeks. Really pay attention to her warning (although I did sleep well LOL) "Remember to drink this with caution! For the amount of alcohol in this, you really can’t taste how strong it is; it’s so smooth!" thank you

I have to tell you a story of the timeliness of your recipe and how it relates to my 11 year old grandson. But first you must know, the boy is obsessed with tea...hot tea, cold tea, green tea, herbal tea, Earl Grey...it doesn't matter, he loves brewing and drinking tea! And currently, he is obsessed with the show Moonshiners. The other day, he asked me for a mason jar, a seal and a lid. And then he asked me if I had a cinnamon stick and an apple. When I asked him why he needed them, he told me, be patient, you will see. Well you can imagine my curiosity, but I promised him I would wait for the big unveiling.
He then brewed a big pot of tea, added sugar, the cinnamon stick and sliced apples and hid the jar away in the fridge to steep. Later when he brought it to me to taste, he asked me to be truthful about whether I liked it or not. I reluctantly took a sip and truthfully, it tasted like nectar from the Gods. I could tell he was happy that I had finally approved of one of his concoctions. I asked him what inspired him and he told to me it was his version of "Apple Pie" without the alcohol.
So you can imagine my glee when I saw your recipe. I cannot wait to share it with him. Of course he won't be able to sample your recipe for another 10 years, but I know he will get a huge kick out of the title.
