Description

It’s the best of both worlds!

Ingredients

  • 1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1-¼ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, Softened To Room Temperature
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • ¾ cups Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 cups White Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Grease or line a couple of cookie sheets.

In a medium bowl; whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and soda.

In a large bowl cream together the butter and both of the sugars until light and creamy. Add in 1 egg at a time until well blended. Gradually add in the cocoa/flour mixture. Gently mix in the white chocolate chips and spoon out rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared pans. You might want to pat them flat a bit with your fingertips because they won’t spread like regular cookies would.

Bake in your preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Cookies will be puffed up a bit but will settle as they cool. Allow the cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Really good! The dough is a little messy so having a disher helps. When they baked they were really puffy but after a few minutes they settled down. They’re really soft and fragile, so I had to store them in a plastic container. These are really good and the white chocolate goes well with the rich brownie cookie.

Super easy recipe. I added some chopped white chocolate candy melts since I didn’t have enough white chocolate chips. Turned out perfect.

I made these this weekend, and they were a.maz.ing! I didn’t have white chocolate chips, so I used Ghiradelli bittersweet chips; can’t wait to try it with white chocolate next time.

Great chocolate dough that is not overly sweet. Stirred in pecans instead of chips, and it was great! Definitely don’t overbake.
