Description

Chocolate chips, toffee chips, coconut, oats. Bake them and use them wisely ;-)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter, Softened
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Quick Oats
  • 1 cup Shredded Coconut
  • 1 bag Heath Chips
  • 1 bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Cream the butter and sugars together in a mixer bowl. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.

Add in the oats, coconut, Heath chips and chocolate chips mixing to combine between each ingredient.

Drop on a greased cookie sheet (or baking stone) and bake at 325 degrees for about 14-15 minutes.

This makes a lot of cookies, which is a good thing. You can freeze them in Ziploc bags if you don’t eat them all right away.

Yum! I just made these cookies this morning and they are tasty! I needed to bake them at 350 degrees for 14 or 15 minutes, but that might be because I made mine a little bigger. Thanks for the recipe!

These are delicious! They are my husbands new favorite cookies and everyone who tries them comments on how delicious they are. The only changes I’ve made are that I substitute butterscotch chips for heath chips. I’ve also made them with quick cook oats and regular oats and I haven’t noticed any difference.

These are good cookies! I did cut back to only a half bag each of chocolate chips and heath chips, because it seemed like a lot of candy for one batch of cookies. But they were delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe!
