This warm chocolate chip cookie is cooked on a skillet. It tastes magical!
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Over medium heat, melt butter in an iron skillet.
3. Stir in the sugars and vanilla.
4. Remove from heat and let pan rest for about 5 minutes.
5. Crack egg into the sugar mixture and wisk well.
6. Add flour, baking soda and salt on top mixing slowly (or it will splatter!) until smooth and mixed well.
7. Add the chocolate chips and smooth the top.
8. Put in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
9. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce (hot fudge recipe in my recipe box!).
Note: I added an extra 1/4 cup of chocolate chips because I love chocolate!
