Boyfriend loved them, even though I overbaked them a few minutes – 20 minutes should be right on, will definitely make again.

I made these yesterday for a New Year’s Day party and they were so yummy! I made mini cupcakes, by the way. 12 minutes at 350 degrees (in a convection oven) was perfect. My only comment would be that the frosting recipe doesn’t make enough if you are piping swirls. I will make 1.5 times the frosting the next time I make these.

This was my first attempt at cupcakes and icing from scratch! So glad it was a success! This was an easy recipe and it tastes delicious! So much better than Pillsbury cupcakes from the box.

I only used the frosting, but it was perfection! Very tasty and great consistency!
