Description

These easy petit fours are a wonderful way to treat someone special!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (24 Oz. Package) Wilton Ready Made Fondant
  • 1 box (12 Oz. Package) Oreo Cakesters
  • 1 container Food Coloring

Preparation

I am going to share a huge secret with you. These are the easiest petit fours you will ever ‘make’ and they are delicious!

You are simply covering Oreo Cakesters with rolled fondant!

No baking!

As far as the technique involved, I rolled out about a quarter-sized ball of fondant for each petit four. I placed it over the cakester, then smoothed it out. After getting it as flat as possible, I used a pizza cutter and cut off the excess. Tuck the edges under and decorate any way you would like!

If you want, you can just use a Wilton flower tip and place a pretty frosting flower on each one.

For a fun decorating tip, try visiting youtube.com and entering ‘decorating with fondant’ or ‘decorating cakes.’ This is how I learned many of the techniques I use!
