Description

Rice Krispie treats with a coconutty twist!

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 bag (10 Oz. Size) Marshmallows
  • 4 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
  • 2 cups Toasted Coconut
  • 1 bag (9 Oz. Size) Coconut M&Ms

Preparation

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add in cereal and coconut. Mix until well blended. Immediately press into greased 9 x 13 pan. Insert coconut M&Ms into the bars. Let set before cutting into squares.

I used a similar method to make toasted coconut rice crispy treats. Buy a bag of the toasted coconut marshmallows! It works really well, although it may not have as much ‘coconutty’ flavor as these. Thanks for the recipe!
