My peach tree is overloaded with fruit right now, so I decided to make peach cobbler. This recipe was delicious! I took it to my parents’ house with vanilla ice cream and everyone loved it. I did have to take it out 20 minutes early because it was starting to burn. Just keep an eye on it in the oven. I will keep this recipe around!

My husband can’t stand peach cobbler but he couldn’t quit eating this! He (and everyone else) loved it! I don’t think I’ll ever eat another peach cobbler again. I didn’t have any fresh lemons to zest so I substituted some lemon extract and that gave it that extra special something. Perfect!

Great recipe! I added cinnamon and sugar to the top of the crust before baking to give it that added sweetness. Definitely will make this again.

I just made this for dessert tonight and it was perfect! I did do half peaches, half strawberries (I had a ton!) and went a little overboard on both. Great balance of tart and sweet with the amounts of sugar and the vanilla and lemon zest is a nice touch.
I think this will be my new go-to cobbler recipe. Thanks for posting it!

This was amazing peach cobbler! It was so simple to make and very straight forward. I served it to my parents after a special dinner and everyone loved it! My mom even wrote me a text message later that evening after she was home exclaiming how wonderful it was and “the best cobbler” she ever had!
I really liked the dimension the lemon zest gave the topping. It was sweet as written, but not overly sweet, which is great to be able to accommodate the sweetness level of the particular batch of peaches you have.
Awesome all around!

I loved this recipe! The cookie like crust is great! I substituted cinnamon for the lemon zest.

The lemon zest really does do something special to this recipe. I, however, was not a huge fan of the crust. It was a little too cake-like for me. The flavor was good but the texture was not my favorite. I would also have like the whole thing a little sweeter than it was. Good recipe but, not the best I have ever had.

Easy, peasy and so yummy! I will leave out the lemon zest next time though or maybe use just 1/2 tsp – thought it took away from the peach flavor.

This wasn’t my favorite cobbler I’ve had. I thought it needed to be a little sweeter, but my husband loved it and loved that it wasn’t really sweet.

I like freshly grated nutmeg and cardamon added to the batter for my peach cobblers. I use fresh, canned and frozen peaches since this is a favorite dessert.
