Awesome cookie recipe! Whoever came up with the idea of adding pudding mix was a genius!

These are the most amazing cookies ever! I just took 6 dozen down to the cafeteria for an MS fundraiser, in fact! Last night, my husband said these were the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever made. Don’t tell his mom.

I have never taken the time to review something unitl now. These were the best choc cookies I have ever made. I may never buy cookie dough again after making these.

Definitely a 5 mitt recipe! I have found my favorite chocolate chip cookie receipe.
Perfect combo of crispy right on the edges with softness in the middle. When baking they really hold the shape that you dropped them in, finally puffing up towards the end, then flattening out a wee bit more as they cool. I could taste the pudding mix in the raw dough but not after baked. Wonder how chocolate pudding mix would work?

All I can say is YUM! I used 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of M&Ms. VERY rich, but also very delicious.

Made these over the weekend for the grandkids – loved ‘em! I used the small pkg of pudding mix – agree with thystle – they hold up beautifully in the oven and just barely get crispy around the edges and stay moist and soft. Lovely!

I hardly ever write reviews, but I must say that these cookies are probably the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever made! This was the first time I have produced fluffy and soft cookies, with those perfect cripsy edges. I mixed 1/2 package chocolate chips with 1/2 package white chocolate chips, and the result was divine. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe! It won’t be leaving my arsenal.

Thank you so very much!! This is the 4th chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve made trying to please my 14 year old boy’s craving for soft, moist cookies! (I know, sounds crazy to have a picky 14 y.o. boy!!) He actually wanted them flat, so I pressed them! He loves them!!! This is the best ever!

These were WONDERFUL!! I took them on a family picnic, and they were gobbled up in minutes. they were a HUGE hit. Like the others said, they didn’t look cooked in the 8 min. But I took them out, and let them sit on the cookie sheet for two minutes, then moved to cooling rack. They were so soft, and had a wonderful texture. YUMMY!

I have this same recipe and they are definitely soft. I also sometimes use butterscotch pudding instead of vanilla to give a different flavor.

I also use white chocolate pudding sometimes, but I like vanilla the best.

Soft, we do ok. Do these stand up to being cooked? We have lately, had the issue of our choc. chip cookies coming out paper thin!

My chocolate chip cookies always turned out super flat and thin. I thought it was my pan or oven, but since making them with this recipe they are now fluffy and thick:-)

I didn’t know about the pudding, how long have I been in the dark? I am always trying to find the perfect soft, chewy cookie recipe. Will try this tomorrow, thanks!!

Amy,
We made these last night. My husband was in charge of the chips and we weren’t sure what half a bag was – he poured in a bunch! We cooked on the low end (8 minutes) because we love them undercooked. Ate a few hot but threw the rest in the freezer. I think right out of the freezer wins. These are awesome! Thanks!

I have this recipe also and I have used butterscotch chips and used different puddings. My husband loves these.

I made these last night and they were AMAZING! Definitely the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever made. Usually my cookies end up thin and harden quickly but these stayed nice and tall and soft! I sent most of them with my husband to work today and he told me they were gone by 8:30am
