Classic cookie recipe with M&M milk chocolate candies.
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In your electric mixer’s bowl, cream together the sugars, shortening, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually add in the flour mixture to the creamed mixture and blend it all together. Fold in the M&Ms. (If you like, you can add in more M&Ms.)
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown.
