Description

This is a different style of making cookies but the results are amazing, soft chocolaty cookies. Yum, yum. PS – this recipe makes a lot!

Ingredients

  • 4-½ cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1-½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1-½ cup White Sugar
  • 2 cups Softened Butter
  • 2 cups Chopped Walnuts (optional)
  • 4 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 5 whole Eggs (take One Away If You Want More Chewy And Less Crispy)
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a big bowl including sugar (make sure to use a really, really big bowl).
3. Cut in the butter until crumbly.
4. Add nuts and chocolate chips.
5. Beat together eggs and vanilla and then mix it in with the other ingredients.
6. Mix it up good, don’t get worried that you don’t have enough wet to stick it all together, it will come together eventually.
7. Roll into balls, place on cookie tray and bake for 10-12 minutes or until brown. Remove from tray right away and allow to cool on a cooling rack.

Yields approximately 4 dozen cookies.
