Tastes Just Like a Real Strawberry … Strawberry Cake

Description
My daughter took a bite of this cake and said, “This tastes just like a strawberry. A REAL one!”
Ingredients
- 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 box (4-serving 0.30 Oz. Box) Fat Free/sugar Free Strawberry Jello
- ½ cups Water
- ½ cups Oil
- 3 whole Eggs
- 8 ounces, weight Frozen, Sliced Sweetened Strawberries

- FOR THE ICING:
- 3 ounces, weight Frozen, Sliced Sweetened Strawberries
- ¼ sticks Butter, Barely Softened But Not Melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Powdered Sugar, Enough To Reach Desired Consistency
Preparation
Mix all ingredients well and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35 minutes.
Combine the icing ingredients together, adding just enough powdered sugar to reach the desired icing consistency. Ice the cooled cake.
