Description

Homemade taste without being home all day to make it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 20 ounces, fluid Can Of Sliced Peaches (drain)
  • Cinnamon, For Sprinkling On Top
  • Brown Sugar, For Sprinkling On Top

Preparation

Melt 1 stick of butter (real butter) in a 9 x 9 baking pan or glass dish, then pour batter into pan onto the melted butter. Do not mix it up.

Open can of peaches; drain. Spoon peaches over your butter batter mixture – again do not mix. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Bake about 35 minutes at 450 degrees. Spoon it out and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So yummy!

I make this recipe alot. An older lady gave my mom this recipe years and years ago except she called it Poor Boy Pie. I love the peach version and my husband loves it made from blackberries. Very easy and very good, especially when warm.
