Description

Super-easy and really yummy cookie recipe that anyone can make (even me!)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dark Or Light Karo Syrup
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1-½ cups Peanut Butter
  • 1 quart Special K Or Cornflakes Cereal

Preparation

(You can use creamy or crunchy peanut butter for this recipe. I prefer creamy.)

Mix Karo syrup and sugar in a large pan. Bring to a boil and then boil for exactly one minute. Take off the burner and then add peanut butter. Finally, mix in the cereal.

Use a spoon to drop cookies onto wax paper. Allow time for them to set and then dig in!

I know what you mean about it’s bad to have them on hand Beth…way too many calories sitting around to tempt me! lol!

I have a very similar recipe except mine is pressed into a cookie sheet instead of dropped & then topped with chocolate and butterscotch chips mealted together (6 oz each).

Great recipe for potlucks. Bad for me to have on hand because I will eat the whole batch if left unattended…
