Description

Golden, delicious, cake with cinnamon swirl inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Yellow Cake Mix
  • ¾ cups Vegetable Oil
  • ¼ quarts Sour Cream
  • ⅛ quarts White Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar
  • ⅓ ounces, fluid Ground Cinnamon
  • ⅛ quarts Pecans, Chopped

Preparation

Mix cake mix, oil, sour cream, white sugar. Add eggs one at at time and beat well. Meanwhile, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts together. Grease and flour a bundt pan or tube pan and pour a layer of cake mixture and a layer of brown sugar mixture alternately. Do not let brown sugar touch sides of pan on the top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove to rack to finish cooling.

OMfG this cake fit my craving exactly! Tastes so great but was so easy! And thanks to CRC for the cream cheese frosting idea. Great addition!

This is a delicious cake. I made it for the boys at work (I work for a Sheriff’s Department) and it was gone in less than 30 mintues! Thank you for the great recipe!!

This is always a hit. I always do this cake but top it off with a cream cheese frosting.
1 pkg cream cheese
sugar
1 tsp vanilla
milk
I just pour it over and let it frost as it falls.

The name gives way to just how long this recipe has stood the test of time. I had to smile when I saw it. What a wonderful cake!
