  • 2-⅔ cups All Purpouse Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Butter, At Room Temperature
  • 2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Nutmeg

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9×13 inch pan. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and set aside.
2. In a large bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla, and beat until smooth.

These were wonderful; a perfect balance of sweet and cinnamon. Days later they were still nice and chewy.

These were delicious–everything good about a snickerdoodle only more moist, and in bar form. Not only were they super easy to make, but my family loved them. My dad has polished off about 10 in the past 24 hours.
