Description

Quick and easy skillet apples with oat topping.

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 3 whole Apples, Peeled And Quartered
  • ¼ cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • ½ cups Light Or Dark Brown Sugar
  • 5 pinches Cinnamon (add More If You Want)
  • 2 pinches Nutmeg

Preparation

Preheat oven 350 degrees (F).

Melt butter in a cast iron skillet and lay apple slices in one layer over the melted butter on the bottom of pan. Sprinkle oats, brown sugar and spices on top of apples. Cook for 20 to 30 minutes until apples are soft.
