Description

These are called Layers of Love Chocolate Brownies, but I decided a better name would be Sinful Brownies. Make some today and you’ll see why. Eat one while still warm, and your eyes will roll back in your head.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups All-purpose Flour
  • ¾ cups Baking Cocoa
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 stick Butter, cut into pieces
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cups Packed Brown Sugar
  • 3 whole Large Eggs, Divided
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cup Chopped Pecans
  • ¾ cups White Chocolate Morsels
  • ½ cups Caramel Ice Cream Topping
  • ¾ cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Morsels

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-inch square pan.

In a small bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, and salt. In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar and the brown sugar until creamy. Add 2 of the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla and mix well. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Reserve 3/4 cup of the batter.

Spread remaining batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with pecans and white morsels, then drizzle with caramel. Beat the remaining egg and reserved batter in the same large bowl until light in color. Stir in semi-sweet morsels. Spread evenly over the caramel topping.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until center is set. Let cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares.
