Description

These nummy little treats will be a hit with the kids!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Oranges, Rind Only
  • 4 whole Limes, Rind Only
  • 3 whole Lemons, Rind Only
  • 2-¼ cups Boiling Water, Divided
  • 3 ounces, fluid Orange Jello
  • 3 ounces, fluid Cherry Jello
  • 3 ounces, fluid Raspberry Jello

Preparation

Cut your fruit in half, through the axis.

Scoop out the insides. I first juiced the fruit, then pulled all the insides out. The oranges were pretty easy, but for the limes. it was a little harder to pull everything out, so I left some–just added more lime flavor! Next place the rinds in a muffin tin and make them as level as you can.

Mix 3/4 cup boiling water with one package of Jello, stir 2-3 minutes until it’s all dissolved. Carefully fill your rinds as full as possible, the jello will shrink up a little bit when it cools! Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Once Jello is set, cut the fruit in half with a sharp knife!

Note: One box of Jello filled 2 medium oranges. The other box filled 3 limes; I maybe could have gotten 4 if I had 4 on hand.
