Description

With summer just around the corner and temperatures on the rise, it’s about time to soak those skewers, load ‘em up and throw them on the barbie!

  • 3 whole Apples (Gala Is Preferred), Peeled And Cubed
  • 1 whole Kiwi, Peeled And Cubed
  • 1 whole Mango, Peeled And Cubed
  • ¼ cups Brown Sugar, Not Packed
  • 6 whole Wooden/bamboo Skewers
  • 2 Tablespoons Salted Caramel Sauce (from TJ's, Or Use Your Favorite Brand Of Caramel Sauce)
  • 1-½ Tablespoon Nutella (slightly Heated And Mixed With A Bit Of Milk So It Is Easy To Drizzle)
  • 1 teaspoon Milk, To Mix With The Nutella

Preparation

1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for 10-20 minutes. This will help eliminate splintering and also will keep them from igniting while on the grill.

2. Cut up fruit place it in a bowl, sprinkle with brown sugar, and slightly toss. Let the mixture sit for a couple minutes. Then, add the fruit onto the skewers in a pattern that makes you happy.

3. Place on the grill, on medium heat, for a about 2 minutes on each side.

4. Let cool for a few minutes, then drizzle with Nutlla and salted caramel sauce!
