Easy, delicious, and just sweet enough to satisfy your craving!
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Mix together all dry ingredients. Add melted butter and vanilla and mix until a soft dough is formed. If needed, add more flour. Form into 1″ balls and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 13 minutes, or until golden.
Let cool for 2 minutes. Roll Tea Cakes in powdered sugar.
Enjoy!

I use all-purpose flour all the time for these and they come out fine. I’ve also substituted choppoed walnuts for chopped pecans.
Either way, this recipe ROCKS and is a long-time recipe used by my family (although we are Slovak in ancenstry not Russian as the cookies would imply. )

What changes if you use 2 cups of all-purpose flour instead of the whole wheat flour? I’ve never cooked with wheat flour.
