I use all-purpose flour all the time for these and they come out fine. I’ve also substituted choppoed walnuts for chopped pecans.

Either way, this recipe ROCKS and is a long-time recipe used by my family (although we are Slovak in ancenstry not Russian as the cookies would imply. :) )

What changes if you use 2 cups of all-purpose flour instead of the whole wheat flour? I’ve never cooked with wheat flour.
