Description

Fluffy marshmallows and crunchy walnuts covered with chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (10.5 Oz. Bag) Colored Miniature Marshmallows
  • 2 cups Roughly Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Can) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter, Room Temperature
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Line a 9×9 square baking pan with wax paper, leaving a 2 inch overhang of paper on opposite sides.

Mix the marshmallows and walnuts in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Combine the condensed milk, butter, and chocolate chips in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Remove pan from heat and let the mixture cool 5 minutes.

Pour the chocolate mixture over the marshmallow mixture and mix until thoroughly combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a buttered spatula. Put the pan in the refrigerator for 2 hours or until set.

Using the wax paper overhang as handles, lift the bars out of the pan and place on a cutting board. With a sharp knife, cut it into bars, cleaning the knife blade in between cuts.

Just threw this together (mainly because I’m addicted to anything ‘Rocky Road’!!) It was so easy, and the hard part now is waiting the 2 hr refrigeration time to eat it. Mmmm

I have made this twice now, and it’s a recipe – once made – I need to get out of the house because it’s SO good! This time I rolled it in saran wrap for slicing. Oh goodness!!! A rocky road fave for me!
