Simply delicious peanut butter cookies, made even better with the addition of Reese’s Pieces.
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In a large bowl (or bowl of stand mixer), combine brown sugar, peanut butter, Crisco, milk and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Add eggs and mix until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir to combine. Add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture in thirds, mixing well after each addition. Do not overmix. Stir in Reese’s Pieces.
Drop cookies (about 1 tablespoonful) onto cookie sheet and flatten slightly with a fork. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Note: you can omit the Reese’s Pieces or substitute with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, mini chocolate chips or Heath Toffee Bits.
